Brixio Legal
Cookie Policy
Which cookies we set on brixio.io, why we use them, and how to update your preferences at any time. Consent is managed by Cloudflare Zaraz.
This Cookie Policy explains how the Brixio group (“Brixio”, “we”, “us”, “our”) uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on the website www.brixio.io (the “Site”), why we use them, and how you can control them.
This Cookie Policy supplements our Privacy Policy (https://brixio.io/privacy-policy/) and our Legal Notice (https://brixio.io/legal-notice/). Capitalised terms not defined herein have the meaning given in the Privacy Policy.
1. Principle
This Cookie Policy concerns the cookies and similar tracking technologies (“tracers”) deposited and read on your terminal when you consult the Site, regardless of the type of device used (computer, smartphone, tablet).
As a general rule, cookies and tracers requiring your consent are deposited only when you actively give such consent through the cookie banner displayed on your first visit. Strictly necessary cookies are deposited automatically because they are required for the Site to function or to keep it secure.
You may at any time withdraw your consent or modify your choices via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of the Site.
2. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file deposited on your terminal (computer, smartphone, tablet) by the server of the website you visit. Cookies allow the website to recognise your terminal and to store certain information about your preferences or your past actions.
In addition to cookies, we may use other tracking technologies such as tracking pixels (small graphic images embedded in web pages or emails) and similar identifiers, which are subject to the same rules as cookies under this Cookie Policy.
3. How to manage your cookies
You may at any time inform yourself and configure your cookie choices via the cookie banner displayed when you first visit the Site, or via the “Cookie settings” link permanently available in the footer of the Site. You may indicate your preferences globally for the Site or category by category.
You may also delete cookies already installed on your terminal or refuse the deposit of new cookies through your browser settings. Instructions for the most common browsers are available at the following addresses:
- Google Chrome: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647
- Mozilla Firefox: https://support.mozilla.org/kb/cookies-information-websites-store-on-your-computer
- Microsoft Edge: https://support.microsoft.com/microsoft-edge/delete-cookies-in-microsoft-edge-63947406-40ac-c3b8-57b9-2a946a29ae09
- Apple Safari: https://support.apple.com/guide/safari/manage-cookies-sfri11471/
To learn more about cookies and how to control them, you may also consult the website of the French data protection authority (CNIL): https://www.cnil.fr/fr/cookies-et-traceurs-que-dit-la-loi.
Please note that disabling certain cookies (in particular strictly necessary or functional cookies) may prevent you from accessing certain features of the Site or adversely affect your browsing experience.
4. Categories of cookies we use
We use two categories of cookies on the Site - strictly necessary cookies and advertising cookies. We also use a cookieless analytics solution which does not require the placement of any cookie or the collection of consent.
4.1 Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential to the operation of the Site and to the security of your browsing session. They allow the Site to load correctly, distribute traffic across our infrastructure, protect against malicious traffic (bots, denial of service), and remember your cookie consent choices.
Because the Site is hosted on the global edge network of Cloudflare, Inc. and uses Cloudflare Zaraz as its consent and tag management platform, several of these cookies are placed by Cloudflare for security, load-balancing and consent storage purposes (notably __cf_bm, cf_clearance, _cflb and cf_consent).
Strictly necessary cookies do not require your consent and cannot be disabled through the cookie banner. You may still delete them via your browser settings, but the Site may then no longer function properly.
4.2 Analytics
To measure audience and understand how visitors use the Site, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless analytics solution provided by Cloudflare, Inc. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not place any cookies on your device, does not use device fingerprinting, and does not track users across websites. The information collected is aggregated and used solely for statistical purposes.
Because Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless, no consent is required for its use, in line with the position of the French data protection authority (CNIL) regarding privacy-friendly analytics tools.
4.3 Advertising cookies
These cookies are placed by us or by our advertising partners (notably LinkedIn and Meta) to deliver relevant advertising for Brixio's services on third-party platforms, to measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns, and to build retargeting audiences.
These cookies are placed only with your explicit consent, collected through the cookie banner. We do not sell your personal data.
5. Detailed cookies inventory

6. Third-party providers and opt-out
Certain cookies on the Site are deposited by third-party providers acting either as data processors of Brixio or as independent data controllers. The table below sets out the main providers, together with links to their privacy policies and the means to opt out of their cookies independently of our cookie banner:
| Provider | More information | How to opt out |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare | https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/ | Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled without affecting Site security and performance. Cloudflare Web Analytics (used on this Site) is cookieless and does not require consent. |
| Meta (Facebook, Instagram) | https://www.facebook.com/policies/cookies/ | https://www.facebook.com/help/568137493302217 |

| EU / UK / EEA users - general advertising opt-out | https://www.youronlinechoices.eu | https://www.youronlinechoices.eu/choices |
Use by these third parties of any data they collect through cookies on the Site is governed by their own privacy and cookie policies, which we encourage you to review.
7. International transfers
Some of the third-party providers listed above are established outside the European Economic Area, notably in the United States. Where applicable, transfers of personal data outside the EEA are governed by:
- the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) adopted by the European Commission;
- the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF), for providers that have certified to it;
- any other appropriate safeguards required under applicable law.
Further information on international transfers is available in our Privacy Policy (Section 9).
8. Retention of consent
Your consent choices (acceptance, refusal, or partial acceptance) are recorded for a maximum period of six (6) months, in line with the recommendation of the French data protection authority (CNIL). After this period, the consent banner will be displayed again on your next visit so that you may renew or modify your choices.
You may withdraw or change your consent at any time, without prejudice to the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to such withdrawal, via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of the Site.
9. Updates to this Cookie Policy
We may amend this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect legal, technical or organisational changes, or changes in the cookies we use. The “date of last update” is indicated at the top of this document. Where the change is substantial, we will inform you via a notice on the Site or by re-displaying the cookie banner.
